Rasmussen College is now offering a new associate’s degree program at their online campus and select regional campuses.
According to drugstorenews.com, the pharmacy technician degree will “teach students how to assist pharmacists in a wide variety of pharmacy settings within the healthcare system and prepare them for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam.”
The degree is reflecting an increase in demand for pharmacy technicians in the workforce. The pharmacy technician associate’s degree will also be available at Rasmussen’s Aurora, Ill., Rockford, Ill., Eagan, Minn., Mankato, Minn., St. Cloud, Minn., Ocala, Fla. and Pasco County, Fla., campuses.
